In order to maintain ClubsAll as a civil, stable, and friendly environment, we have placed certain restrictions on what is and isn't allowed on this platform. We will allow healthy, respectful discussions based on good-faith between people whose opinions differ, even if they are controversial. This prevents exclusive bubbles or echo chambers from being perpetuated. After all, new perspectives will be impossible to get if people only speak to those who agree with them.
ClubsAll will have two levels of moderation: site-wide and club/community-wide. The club/community rules shall be set up by their respective moderators and shall be enforced by them as well. These club rules can be as strict or lax as they please, as long as these are in-line with the site-wide rules. Please see the Moderator Code of Conduct for further information.
Site-wide rules
- No spamming. We encourage users to share their creations with multiple clubs so long as they are relevant to that community. Do not repeatedly share the same links or content to irrelevantcommunities. Also, do not use ClubsAll solely for self-promotion purposes.
- No racism/discrimination/hate. Do not post content that promotes violence or discrimination against people based on their ethnicity, race, gender, sex, religion, political beliefs, nationality, sexual orientation, or philosophy. It is fine to talk about differences as long as both parties are respectful to one another. The use of slurs or the promotion of dangerous ideas is absolutely not allowed and will result in an automatic account ban.
- No harassment of other users. Disagreements with other people are expected within forums, but attempts such as threatening people, blackmailing, repetitive comments, showboating, name-calling, shutdown discourse, and organized campaigns of harassment are not allowed on this site.
- No doxxing of other users. Do not share or even threaten to post the private information (such as official names, phone number, or address) of other users on this site, especially without their explicit consent to do so.
- No encouraging of dangerous or harmful behavior.Do not post content that incites or encourages harmful behavior such as self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide.
- No brigading or showboating. We do not allow campaigns to 1) downvote posts and comments of clubs that you do not agree with, 2) leave hostile posts or comments to clubs that you do not like, or 3) posting about a community ban in other communities to incite a negative reaction.
Breaking these aforementioned guidelines may result in the offending content being removed as well as the temporary/permanent suspension of the user account.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these guidelines at any time. If a revision is material, We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
